So...
I had a mathematics teacher called Mr. Raja.
One day, he made us an interesting offer.
He told us that everything we'd be tested on was already inside our mathematics textbook.
If we worked through the problems ahead of time and could show that we'd solved them, we wouldn't need to sit the test.
Now, that got my attention.
So I started solving problems.
And solving.
And solving.
I didn't particularly care who was ahead of me or who was behind me.
I just kept working through the book.
By the time I was in JSS3, I'd already worked through mathematics up to SS2 level.
I'd even started studying calculus.
But something much more important than mathematics happened.
