This week’s lore drop follows on from last week’s exploration of the Lord of Dran, Sorias Varren. A secret alliance has formed between Dran and the kingdom of Ghotharand in the barren north east of Aestis. The king of the Ghothars, Roharradh, chose the path of reform when he came to power instead of the standard practice of most Ghothar kings, which is to exploit and loot as much as possible. He found the challenge of his own earls insurmountable, however, and as the chances of land reform crumbled, Roharradh turned to war as a solution to his problems, aided by a mysterious guest, who connected the King of the Ghothars to the lord of Dran.
