Welcome to the March 26th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week
I was reminded of the value of having a great team in place at work.
A great team solves a lot of problems before it gets to you.
I was speaking with my CFO about something we needed to catch.
She surprised me when I saw she had already caught it.
Imagine. I had been spending a bit of brainpower trying to think of how we could solve it.
It was not a problem to face again.
It’s not only her.
Members of my team have shown their greatness by solving a lot of problems before they get to me.
And that’s why I am always ready to go to battle for them.
Occasionally, they come with unusual requests which I accede to.
Because they have earned to right to ask for it.
When people earn the right to something, I keep them motivated by letting them use it.
Things I Learnt
1-Leveraging Your Experiences for Others: on Sunday, I spoke to a group of people in their 20s and 30s.
It was a family-meeting style meet-up with all of us sitting around tables facing each other.
So, they get the free pass to interrupt and ask me questions at any time.
I spoke about getting them ready for the next quarter and setting themselves up to win.
I realised something.
Almost everything I spoke about came from the experiences I have lived and the lessons I had picked up from them.
My ability to explain it was down to something I had learned to do a while back.
Now and again, I review my experiences and codify them into a structure that can be taught repeatedly.
It gives me two benefits.
First, I can pass the blessing of these evaluated experiences to others.
Second, I am better prepared to improve my future decision-making.
Creating value for me and others.
2-God Answers…In Different Ways: I mentioned last week that I had been on a series of prayers focused on spiritual warfare.
Well, at some point, I felt I needed a prayer partner to support me.
I wasn’t sure who to call on because of the level of flexibility that I am pursuing on the prayers.
I don’t have a clear line of prayer actions - I am just adapting to how I sense that God is leading me through.
Well, God answered my prayers.
Someone I’m friends with on Facebook mentioned a preacher who is a spiritual father to him.
The preacher has a telegram group which I joined.
On the group, he shares a number of his sermons and a plus of telegram is that I can see old posts on the group.
I downloaded them and he has become my prayer partner.
I don’t agree with all preaches but I know he carries the Spirit of God.
As he teaches, he stirs up a renewed passion for prayer in me.
And so I pray more.
A unique prayer partner is created.
God answers differently.
But He answers.
Postscript
May you not be too fixated on how you want God to answer your prayers that you don’t see how He has answered your prayers. Amen
