Hello again!
The time has come again for Mark Lawrence's annual Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off!
If you haven't heard of it before, you can read all about it here:
https://mark---lawrence.blogspot.com/2018/06/the-official-self-published-fantasy.html
Out of 300 books, the one with the highest average reviews will be declared the winner.
I entered this contest two years ago with my book Death of the Tree Path and it got 4.5 stars out of 5, which was so thrilling, but not enough to reach semi-finals. That's how tight the competition is! You can read the review here:

The SPFBO is where the best of the best in self-published fantasy goes head-to-head. Being 'pretty good' or even 'great' simply won't cut it.
This year I entered with my book The King & Kishar, and honestly, I would be over the moon if I even got close to the same result as last time. Still, I have all of my fingers and toes crossed. It's unlikely I'll win, but I can dream, right?
(I'm also hoping really hard that I didn't submit the wrong book by accident, since I had to enter the contest on my phone. It's very hard to triple-check these things on such a small screen ...)
Wish me luck!!
In the meantime, while I wait to see how The King & Kishar does, I think I'll be taking my mind off things by burying my nose in a few books.
In addition to the previous winners of the SPFBO, I recommend the below books as well:

Until next time!
