Hello again!

In spite of all the things life throws at me to keep me busy, I've reached two little writing milestones:

One, I hit 10,000 words on the first draft of Elixir of Power book 2.

Two, I have completed the edits and proofreading on The Dustmakers! (The title may change, though)

Yes, in spite of jobs around the house and social engagements and work things and sports things and everything else, I've managed to get a little bit done since we last spoke. I've had my little break from writing, and now I'm back on the horse.

The trick is to chip away at everything a little at a time. Over the days and weeks and months, it all adds up.

The next big thing on the horizon is the release of The Dustmakers. A massive Thank You to all the beta readers who contributed their feedback to this one! The comments, as always, were invaluable.

After that will come the marathon effort of finishing a 150,000-odd word sequel to War with Elves. I've hit 10,000 words—all I have to do is repeat that feat about 15 times.

Should be easy, right?
