Before the Year Ends… Let’s Pause Together

Dear Thriver ,

Before the year ends, I want to invite you to pause with me for a moment.

Not to review milestones.

Not to replay everything that didn’t go as planned.

But to simply breathe—and reflect.

This year may not have looked like what you imagined.

There were days filled with appointments, therapy sessions, questions without clear answers, and moments of quiet worry no one else could see.

Yet somehow, here you are still showing up.

As a parent of a child with cerebral palsy, gratitude doesn’t always come easily.

It’s layered.

Sometimes it sits beside grief.

Sometimes it comes with tears.

But gratitude doesn’t mean pretending it was easy.

It means acknowledging that you survived what once felt impossible.

Gratitude can sound like:

“I didn’t give up.”

“I learned something new about my child.”

“I became stronger, even when I felt weak.”

“I kept going.”

As this year closes, I encourage you to ask yourself just one gentle question:

What did this season teach me about myself?

Not what your child achieved.

Not what you didn’t accomplish.

But what you learned.

Because before your child becomes, you must become.

And growth in you matters deeply.

If you’re longing to enter the new year with more clarity, peace, and confidence—not just survival—I want to remind you of something important:

December 30, I’m hosting a FREE live workshop on YouTube for parents of special needs children.

During this session, I’ll be sharing practical, faith-grounded tools to help you:

• regain emotional and mental stability

• reduce mental load and stress

• gain clarity around decisions and finances

• parent with greater calm and confidence

This training is for the parent who is tired of carrying everything alone—and ready to realign.

If you haven’t joined yet, please do.

Come as you are.

Come tired.

Come hopeful.

You don’t have to enter a new year the same way you entered the last.

Thank you for choosing to thrive—even when it’s hard.

With love and gratitude,
