Hey ,
Listen, AI is everywhere and rapidly growing. We know this. The most important thing to keep in mind is, artificial intelligence is a tool. So let me explain how we are using it makes a difference. Expert craftsmen and women who specialize in their area all use tools. Each tool is important for getting results. As we evolve we must adapt and improve. Today, I explain some new AI and data improvements in our product.
Recently, at FITTWAVE, we have been making updates with our client data insights and improving our customer experience.
Why? Tracking your fitness journey is more than just looking in the mirror. It is about diving deep into the data. You need to understand what is actually happening under the hood. In our latest update, we are pulling back the curtain on our new Insights Dashboard.

Whether you are trying to hit a specific weight goal
or just want to feel better in your day-to-day life…
You must understand your trends is the key to long-term success.
I am here to BREAK IT DOWN.
Let’s break down the latest findings from the dashboard. Then, we can look at how to optimize your routine for the weeks ahead.
The Power of the Insights Dashboard: Early Access
Using AI we know can gather data at faster speeds. At Fittwave, our new Insights Dashboard is currently in an early access phase. This means we are constantly modifying and improving it. We want to see how you interact with your data.
The primary goal of this AI tool is to move beyond simple check-ins and start looking at compliance to all lifestyle goals. We want to see how well your daily actions align with your long-term goals. Monitoring sleep, nutrition, training, and progress all in one app with live real time coaching.
While many people focus solely on their training sessions, this dashboard currently prioritizes habits and nutrition.
Why? The work you do in the kitchen affects your body composition the most. Additionally, the movement you perform outside the gym impacts your energy levels significantly. By looking at these metrics per week, we can spot patterns before they become problems.
Here are the notes of a recent Client Data Assessment: Nutrition (ONLY)
Nutrition Deep Dive: Calories, Protein, and Macros
When we look at the nutritional standpoint, the data shows some very encouraging trends. One of the biggest highlights is that overall calorie intake is trending upwards compared to last month. “Eating more” might sound counter intuitive to some. However, it is actually a sign that we are hitting our target goals more accurately. We are fueling the body properly. This prevents intake from trending downwards into a deficit that might be unsustainable.
Client Cliff Notes Starting:
Age: 30
Weight Starting: 190 lbs
Steps per day: ?
Nutrition: ?
Blood Pressure: ?
Medications: (Due to client confidentiality, not released here)
Daily training and health history: high stress, focused on losing weight and keeping it off, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. Poor diet habits (binge eating), no history of disordered eating.
Step 1: Monitoring Your Nutrition and Lifestyle Habits.
Nutrition, is just the tip of the iceberg. We are exploring all areas in this, but to save you time let’s talk lifestyle and specifics in nutrition.
While calories are number one, it is important to track other nutrients. Tracking can make a huge difference!
How we are using AI with personalized coaching: Our dashboard has flagged a slight drop in protein numbers.
Client feedback via video: Protein is the building block of muscle recovery and satiety, so keeping these numbers consistent is vital.
If you’ve noticed it’s getting harder to hit your protein targets, it is time to look at your meal prep or snack choices. Keeping your coach updated via messaging on these fluctuations allows for quick adjustments to your meals, and using our app you can track, take pics, and more!
Step 2: Here is the X FACTOR IN YOUR HEALTH JOURNEY. (This is What We Do Best at FITTWAVE)
Combining real life movement, habits, and nutrition all in one assessment. Outside of the kitchen, your daily movement and sleep are massive factors in your metabolic health. Our current goal is to stay consistently over 8,500 steps per day. The good news? On average, your movement levels have been higher this month than they were at the beginning of last month. This shows that your baseline activity level is increasing!
Movement and Activity: The 8,500 Step Challenge
However, the real-time data from the dashboard shows a slight downward trend in steps over the last few days. It is easy to let activity slide as the week winds down, but this is exactly when we need to push. Focusing on hitting those step goals over the weekend will help maintain that monthly average and keep your momentum high.
Weight Tracking: Averages Over Extremes
Let’s talk about the number on the scale. We are currently chipping away at a goal of 175 pounds. When chasing a specific weight goal, it is easy to get discouraged by a single “high” day or an unexpected spike. This is why the Insights Dashboard emphasizes daily weigh-ins.
We aren’t looking for a single big number; we are looking for weekly averages. Daily weigh-ins provide the data points necessary to filter out the “noise” of water retention, inflammation, or digestion.
By weighing in every day, we can see the true direction of your weight loss and ensure we are heading toward that 175-pound target in a healthy, sustainable way.
Celebrating Non-Scale Victories (NSVs)
While the data is important, it doesn’t tell the whole story. Some of the most significant progress happens in ways the scale can’t measure. These are known as Non-Scale Victories (NSVs), and we are seeing some great ones lately:
Improved Sleep: Better sleep quality means better recovery, lower stress, and more energy for your workouts.
Physical Improvements: Noticing that your “hands are getting better” (whether that refers to grip strength, skin health, or reduced inflammation) is a sign that your internal health is trending upward.
Hydration Awareness: While we are still monitoring water intake, the increased focus on this habit is a victory in itself.
Watch the Protein: If your protein numbers are dropping, try to incorporate a lean protein source into every meal.
Balance the Macros: If you love your beef pasta, try to balance it out with lower-fat or lower-carb meals throughout the rest of the day.
Hit the Pavement: Don’t let the weekend slump kill your step count. Aim for that 8,500+ daily average.
Consistency is King: Keep weighing in daily and logging your water so we have the best data possible to work with.
Conclusion
The journey to a healthier lifestyle is a marathon, not a sprint. With the help of the new Insights Dashboard, we can make informed decisions based on real data rather than guesswork.
