I couldn't help the Game of Thrones reference since we're just days away from the official first day of Winter! Are you ready for the solstice?

I'm so thrilled to be sharing more gifts with you all before I engage winter break and holiday mode over here. The baking has already begun and we're still slowly decorating around all the other things keeping us busy. TWO MORE DAYS TILL HOMESCHOOL BREAK!!

If you've been following me for a while, you'll know one of the pillars I speak and work with clients about is whole-self healthy life balance. That means not only honoring our physical well being, but also our mental, emotional, social, spiritual, etc. These things all require a unique and conscious balance in order for us to be our best selves and live to our fullest potential.

Therefore, I'm truly excited to be taking a winter break of my own starting this week with the solstice. I have a few little things I'm excited to share during that time, but by and large... I'll be unplugged and on family time!

Integrate new ideas

As tempting as it is to let new concepts and perspectives run away with us, now is a time to let the new blend with the old. Dig deeper, reflect, and study to truly understand all the knowledge that is being presented.

Flying into action without a plan turns even a great idea on its head. Take the time to truly absorb all the elements in order to proceed wisely. Try not to let the enthusiasm for what is new cause you to lose sight of what you already know or could learn more from.

Live Card Readings!!

The gift of guidance!! I'm thrilled to announce the first live card reading session I'll be offering! My Welcome Winter solstice reading session will be a live virtual event where I'll be offering up to three card readings for those who attend FREE!

Yule Wishing Cone

Final gift today! I couldn't resist sharing this tradition with you in case it wasn't already something you practice. So simple and charming and just in time!

Here's how it works:

• Pick up a pinecone (wherever you're able to, one each or for the whole family)
• Create several small strips of paper
• Write down your wishes, goals, manifestations, and/or intentions for the coming season or new year
• Roll up each wish
• Tuck them into the cone
• On Yule, burn the cone to release the wishes on the longest night
• Optional steps: Dip or coat the cone in wax of a color to align with your main desire for the coming year, Sprinkle it with herbs or essential oils of your choice to match your intentions, Add a string and hang the cone from the tree or a window till it's time to burn, Burn it on your Yule log!
