Happy Samhain ,

A.K.A. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

This is my absolute favorite holiday and I'm so excited to be stepping away so enjoy it with my family. Because that's one of the reasons I do what I do, for my family.

This is a liminal time.

A true time between is upon us. We are in a space where the line between worlds, seasons, and even life and death are blurred.

It can be terrifying to some. For others... it's filled with potent potential.

We are between summer and winter with our final harvest.

The last of the summer's bounty is being gathered and we will feast. Now is the time we prepare for Mother Nature to slumber and the darker days to bring a chill of oncoming winter.

The veil has been pulled aside and the gates are opening.

With so many things in transition, we're able to tap into energies and messages from beyond the confines of our physical experience.

Gifts are heightened. What is worked at this time has more potential, for either good or ill.

Intentions are more powerful. Especially with the power of the new moon already building.

Now's the time to honor what goes bump in the darkness. Both outside and within.

With less light filling our days, the things which thrive in the shadowscape creep out to wander around us.

Everything from the monsters of myth and legend, to the demons we carry within ourselves comes out to play. These elements influence us more strongly now and can play a part in what we attempt to create as well as call in.

The Spirits are among us.

Across cultures and regions, this is a time when ancestors and the energy of the departed is felt strongest.

For some, this inspires fear. For others, a sense of comfort and connection.

One thing we can all agree upon, is that it is important to show respect with so little dividing us from what lies beyond our five senses.

This is also the start of a new year!

In the Wheel of the Year, Celtic traditions, and many metaphysical practices, this is considered the passing away of the old year.

A birth of the new year and the wheel turning anew begins with tomorrow's new moon.

An absolutely perfect time to begin something new in your own life!
