Hope-filled Melody

T S S. FULK

There is more than crisis and tragedy

A kind word aloud, rather than unsaid

One more note for a hope-filled melody

A young musician’s thoughts are prosody

Like a loom with heddles, yarn and some thread

There is more than crisis and tragedy

I know our world seems like a parody Mankind’s heart leans pure, so don’t be mislead

One more note for a hope-filled melody

Right now we are obsessed with malady Mankind will endure, and it will succeed

There is more than crisis and tragedy

Together we can make a remedy

Morning dew and sunshine are guaranteed One more note for a hope-filled melody Nature’s glory unbound is rhapsody

A flowering bush ready to reseed

There is more than crisis and tragedy

One more note for a hope-filled melody
