🎂 Friends, this week (Nov 4th), I turned 31 🦂. My 30th birthday's commitment was to quit my job and devote my time to building my own business entirely.
This year was tough for everyone, but I am happy that I took the risk, and I am slowly progressing towards my goal.
However, I can tell it's a hard bite to swallow when you don't have a monthly salary. 💰
🔗 Results: Last week's link building experiment
Last week I said that I am doing a link building experiment. Basically, I outreached big email marketing SaaS tools.
I found out that even they were linking to a broken/non-existing link (a 301 redirect), they wanted me to pay for a "sponsored post."
I am not surprised at all. Big sharks love cash. But I hate when the exact same big sharks proclaim that "content is a king," and we should never buy or sell links. Oops. 🤥
Anyway, right now, I am doing another link building experiment where I propose link swaps—more about this experiment at the end of November.
💻 Case Study: Building a Profitable Niche Website Course [Free]
Finally, I managed to gather all the data for the niche website I am building from scratch.
I decided to gather the info under a course format but is entirely free, and you don't have to register or anything.

❗️ Unfinished Business
In my last week's email, I said:
"📽️ Next week, expect a new tutorial on how to use Fiverr for link building."
But I completely forgot that I had a birthday, which ate two days of my week (I couldn't throw a party because of the COVID-19, so I had met people separately).
But I promise I will finish this tutorial next week.

- Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking
- Think Little (Environmental Essays) by Wendell Berry (and I love it so far!)
