2023 has been here for a week! 😯 Can't you believe it?! I can't really. I mean, sure, it's been a week... It just doesn't feel like it. I've kept up with most of my goals for the week, however I've also had a change in plans. God willing I possibly start a temporary job on Monday. I'm kinda nervous, it'll be my first job that isn't a family business or my own business. But I'm also super excited! This weekend, my focus is getting the second half of my Seize the Love 🥰 short finished 😍 read a couple review books 💜 finish @graceajohnsonauthor's Tell Me You Love Me 💕 maybe bake something and get ready for my first week of work. How about you? P.S. I've fallen in love with dairy and gluten free chicken fajitas and think I could always eat them.

Pink! I used to have a huge hatred for the color, but now... I love it. And just look at these beauties!!! Ahh, The Paris Dressmaker is just such a stunning book inside and out. Never Say Goodbye is something from a dream! Since You've Been Gone is a must read... All of Tari Faris' books are! Prayer... Something so simple, yet at times so hard. Which is why I've picked or rather felt like prayer is the word I should pick for 2023. Do you pick a word to focus on for the new year?

With the changes that are coming to my account I want to share a little bit about what I hope to be sharing and what genres and themes I am likely to branch into along with some of the stories I have in the planning stages. Genres | women's fiction, suspense, historical fiction, and I'll hopefully keep writing romance and military fiction. Themes | fostering, adoption, along with the themes I already write. Stories | Ally's Hope (my original story that got me to really love writing), Oh, The Brave (the rest of the books anyway.) The Meaning of Life series (the sequel series to Oh, The Brave.), and then, of course, the rest of the short stories for Seize the World anthologies! What are your thoughts? And which of my stories would you like to hear more about first?

With the New Year, I am looking forward to trying out a new theme and posting schedule! I'm leaning towards a simpler theme and posting more often. I am really a one account kind of person, so while at one point I was more of just a bookstagrammer I have decided that I am going to be changing to more of a life account. So, you'll be seeing more of my life posts, writing will stick around, recipes will be shared, and of course books will still be featured, but all in all I'll be doing more posts that aren't book related. I hope you'll like the changes!
