Happy New Year from The Bigbie Method!

Dear NVC Family!
Welcome to 2022! First, thank you so much for being a part of The Bigbie Method this past year. Given that you are interested in the Nonviolent Communication process, I assume a few things about you.
- You care deeply about our world.
- You long for peace, both internally and externally.
- You want more connection and ability to create that – especially when conflicts arise.
Yes, when we look around, we see a lot of disconnection and it can be rather disheartening at times. But, I think I’m so lucky because, through my work, I get to see the best of humanity. It’s been an absolute delight creating the Empathy Gym and watching people become more skilled and conscious about their NVC process. I truly believe that as more people attain these skills, the more connection and less drama and trauma we will have in our world – that is my end game! And I know it takes huge work and commitment to go from theory to practice to mastery. But, when you think about what is most important in life? I’m guessing there is little else that tops the list than having more peace – internally and externally. And, I have found little else as useful as building those NVC skills to bring that about.
So, while many folks start the New Year pondering what they want to create in the next 365+ days, I ask you how seriously do you want to fortify your NVC skills? How badly do you want that peace? It’s hard to think about it when things feel “good” – but just like anything worth having, it’s important to build in the time. I’ve seen several people really improve their communication processes this past year via the Empathy Gym and the improvement is obvious AND documented for those that have been regulars.
I’m writing here to inspire you at the beginning of 2022 to set an NVC goal for yourself. What part of the process would you like most to master? Can you make a regular weekly commitment to working out in the Empathy Gym? According to the book – The Power of Full Engagement – “What gets scheduled, gets done!”
So, here is some direction for you, if you should desire to take it. Right now, join The Bigbie Method’s Empathy Gym and then take out your calendar and schedule a regular time to attend Empathy Gym weekly – make it a priority because I think it is for you. I’ve had some members book themselves one month out at a time and these folks are experiencing real results with their process. I want that so badly for you, for everyone. To make that easy – here is the link to become a member in the Empathy Gym and join us in creating more harmony and connection.
Here's to 2022 and the vision of a more peaceful world – starting in your own arena!
Love and Gratitude to All.
