HELLO ,
Here is the rundown of what you'll find in today's email:
- Life update
- Writing update
- Book series for your TBR
- Reminder about my reader group on Facebook
Welcome back to Fab Fiction Friday where I share books and authors I think you'll love as well as update you on my writing journey!
LIFE UPDATE
It's been too long. I'm going to be real: I am terrible at newsletters. I either share too many times a month or completely miss a month 🤦♀️ there is no in-between. So my sincere apologies for that.
Life has been pretty business as usual and some people may find that boring, but it's exactly what I appreciate. We're getting the house/yard ready for summer and I'm making it my mission to be outside a lot more this summer than I have been the last like five. My family can use all of the Vitamin D we can get!
WRITING UPDATE
I HAVE been writing. Again I'm one extreme or another. I'll have a 2-3k word day a week and write 0 words the rest. I've expanded a couple of side-character's importance to the story and am layering in some more depth. (At least that's what I'm attempting to do.) At the moment When Forever Stays is sitting at around 28k words that I think will be usable (with a little editing and tweaking of course!) So I'm excited about that. This will most likely end around 40-50k words, so I feel confident that I'm finally moving the story and characters in the right direction. So there's that!
BOOK SERIES FOR YOUR TBR
I may or may not have read these books, but you can always count on them to be clean!
CHRISTIAN ROMANTIC SUSPENSE SERIES
I read the first book in this series and the next two are on my TBR. These are Jessica's first Christian fiction books and the first one did NOT disappoint! So I expect only great things for the rest of this series!
Step into the small town of Hope Springs, Maine...
Here, the seafood is fresh, the diner is the place to be, and the town is protected not just by the police--but by the men of Knight Security. A private security company run by highly trained military veterans who are ready to put it all on the line for anyone who comes through their door.
If you love:
- Small town romance
- Christian themes
- All the sizzle but no spice
- Protective heroes
- Romantic suspense
- Thrilling moments
- Standalones
Then this is just what you're looking for!
