Doing your best still counts (especially on the hard days)

Hi ,

Mid-January can be a funny place.

The hope of a fresh start is still there…but the energy can dip...

Motivation wobbles...

And that little voice creeps in that says, “I should be doing better than this.” 😬

If that’s you right now, I want you to hear this clearly:

You are doing your best.
Even on the days it doesn’t feel like it.
And especially on the hard days.

“Doing your best” doesn’t mean showing up perfectly every day with endless energy and positivity.

Some days your best looks like:

✔︎ showing up

✔︎ being kind

✔︎ taking one small step

✔︎ getting through the day

Other days, your best might look like resting, cancelling plans, staying in your pyjamas, or simply breathing your way through something difficult.

And all of that counts.

Our capacity changes day to day - based on energy, emotions, nervous system load, life circumstances…

So your best today doesn’t need to look like your best last week, or your best on a good day.

That doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human.

If you’ve been feeling a bit heavy, discouraged, or hard on yourself lately, I recorded a gentle tapping session to support exactly this space.

It’s focused on the simple but powerful phrase:

“I’m doing my best…”

We tap through tiredness, self-judgement, pressure, and those moments where it feels like you’re falling short - and gently soften into compassion, reassurance, and self-trust instead.

No forcing. No fixing. Just meeting yourself where you are 🙏🙂

I hope it helps you remember that you don’t have to earn rest, kindness, or self-acceptance.

You’re already worthy of them - exactly as you are, exactly where you are.

Honouring Gary Craig

This week, we said goodbye to Gary Craig, the founder of EFT tapping, who passed away peacefully at home.

I never had the chance to meet him, but I’ve watched many of his videos over the years - and like so many others, I’ve found deep comfort, support, and healing through this simple practice he shared with the world.

Because of his generosity and vision, millions of people around the globe now have access to a tool that helps them calm their nervous systems, process emotions, and meet themselves with compassion - especially on the hard days.

His daughter has written a beautiful open letter, which I wanted to share here if you feel called to read it: 👉 https://palaceofpossibilities.com/so/45PknDDLU

I feel so much gratitude for the ripple effect of EFT, and for the way it continues to support people, quietly and powerfully, every day.

Be gentle with yourself today.

Your best is enough.

With love,

P.S. If you’d like a soft place to share how you’re really doing, the Heart Circle is always open. No pressure, just support when you need it 💙🔵
