Hello ,

So, you want to heal? Fantastic. All you need is:

- A therapist (preferably trauma-informed, IFS-trained)

- A somatic coach to help you feel your feelings (because apparently your nervous system is a separate entity now?)

- A journaling habit with daily prompts like “Who am I beneath my triggers?” (answer: tired)

- Daily breathwork (don’t forget to exhale your abandonment wound)

- An acupuncturist for “energy blockages” from that time in 1989 when your mum forgot your birthday

- Gratitude lists (because if you’re not grateful for the hell you’ve been through, are you even healing?)

- A deep dive into your love languages, attachment style, and the Enneagram

- Inner child reparenting, shadow work, ancestral trauma release, moon journalling, and let’s not forget your human design chart

All while holding down a job, feeding yourself, avoiding your toxic ex, and remembering to "stay high vibe."

Welcome to modern healing – a never-ending scavenger hunt for your wholeness.

You can’t just *be*. You have to become an expert in narcissism, a hobbyist neuroscientist, a part-time mystic, and a bloody motivational speaker to boot. The self-help world sold us a lie in a lovely neutral-toned package: that if we just *do enough*, we’ll finally arrive at “healed.” (Spoiler alert: no one knows where that is.)

Let’s be real: it’s exhausting.

This week’s post is for every woman who’s had enough of the endless self-fixing loop.

If you’ve been trying to earn joy by processing one more trauma, sitting through one more meditation, or finishing one more “you must heal first” course… this one’s for you.

This is your full permission to stop healing and start living — bold, messy, beautiful and unapologetic.

🔥 Burn the Healing Industry (and Build a Life Instead)

Your story isn’t over. You’re just beginning.

P.S. My new book Not Victim, Not a Label, Just a Woman Who Finally Said Enough launches 1st September. It’s not another healing guide, it’s your rebellion manual. Stay tuned.
