Dear friends,
The weather is finally something like nice! We're starting to think about cinnamon and nutmeg and apples and honey! Kit's last day of musical theater camp is the 28th, and we hope you'll join us for dinner that evening to celebrate their production and enjoy the first tastes of fall. Chicken stewed with apricots and warm spices? An apple crumble baked in our newly repaired oven? Many things are possible.
If you can't make it this time, maybe you can join us on one or more of these upcoming dates:

December 4 (Hanukkah party!)
Sunday daytime December 27 (Kit's birthday party, with special guest Emmy!)

The gist:
We'll be "at home to visitors" from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday August 28. If you want to let us know you're coming, please do, or just show up!
Arrive at 6:30 for candle-lighting and dinner (advance notice appreciated so we can be sure we have food that you can eat), or after 7 to just hang out. Kids of all ages are very welcome before 8:30, when Kit goes to bed. Quiet adult chill time continues until 10 or whenever we turf you out.

The boring details:
Our apartment is up a steep flight of stairs, and has a cat in residence.
Ash has scent allergies, so please don't wear strong perfume or cologne.
We're more than happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions we can, but cross-contamination of allergens may happen in our kitchen. We never mind you bringing your own food if that's what's safest for you.
If you'd like to bring someone who hasn't been directly invited, please check in advance.
Please take a rapid test at least 12 hours before coming over. At least one member of our family will do likewise. We'll also have a high-quality air purifier running, and windows open if weather permits. If you'd prefer more stringent covid precautions, please let us know.
