Good Morning! Looks like there is a glitch in the Matrix or nothing sold at Articurial's Paris sale yesterday. We're going with a glitch and hope to report the numbers on Monday after day 2 of the sale concludes today.

SPOTLIGHT
This 2004 911 GT3 with 8,000 miles was offered from the Frank Tsuru collection at No Reserve with all proceeds from this sale (and his others) going to charity. The car offered is an absolutely pristine example of a 996 GT3 with all original paintwork and an immaculate interior with the smallest of blemishes on the door panel. And the undercarriage, well the undercarriage is a thing of beauty.
Over the past year, we've seen 996 GT3s with this kind of mileage hit a high at $215,000 and a low of $175,000. But over the past few months, we've only seen one car cross the $100,000 mark amid a slew of no sales.
Our Spotlight car sold for $175,000 yesterday on Bring a Trailer with a handful of final bidders duking it out over the $100k where it had sat up to the final morning. Now typically a "charity" auction brings higher value, especially at in-person sales. But this one sold at what we consider the floor for such a quality example. With a 50% sell-through rate over the last two months and this sale sitting fairly low, it looks like the 996 GT3 market might be slowing down a bit. Very well-bought by the winning bidder as when things heat up again, this will be a $200k+ car.
NOTEWORTHY SALES
- Even if you can't walk into a Porsche dealer and buy a new GTS off the lot, it looks like you can now pick one up at auction for MSRP as this 13-mile 2023 911 GTS Coupe 7-Speed sold for $165,000, a hair over its original price. Sir, your flip, flopped.
- This 1967 911S Coupe was well-bought yesterday at $205,000, which was probably 2/3 the cost of the beautiful restoration. And the color combo of Sand Beige over black is the icing on the cake. Color us jealous.
- Typically you can't get a 997 GT3 for under $100,000 until you cross the 50,000-mile mark. But with this 2008 example selling for $96,000, it looks like that mileage marker has moved back about 10,000 miles.
NEW LISTINGS
- Expect big money for this 2010 Porsche Cayenne S Trannsyberia with a 6-speed manual transmission. While only 600 Trannsyberias were produced, only three had manual transmissions making this bad-boy the rarest of the rare when it comes to Porsche SUVs.
- We can only imagine how much fun this 2014 Cayman S is with its 4.5-liter DeMan engine conversion. If you're not familiar with DeMan's work, they take a 3.8 from a 911 and bump it up to 4.5 liters. Add some Fabspeed Motorsports goodies and then put the power to the ground through a Cayman GTS X73 suspension and custom DeMan limited-slip differential. Powaaaah!
- After going unsold on Collecting Cars earlier this year, this Ruf-modified 1995 Porsche 911 Turbo Sunroof Delete out of Rome, Italy, is now being offered on PCARMARKET.
