Hello, my friends!
You've met Vamp before.
She's watching me and trying to decide if I'm serious when I tell her I want my chair! She loves my new fall throw to lean against. She's a gorgeous Halloween cat, isn't she?
Why do I call her Vamp, you wonder? Because I got her when she was about 3 weeks old, found on the streets, and destined to be put down. I had to rescue her!
But...she was feral.
Even as a baby, she spat and snarled when you looked in the animal control's cage! When they reached in and pulled her out, she fit into the palm of my hand!
The little stinker had a habit of grabbing your fingers and growling, or trying to nip me on the chin when I would cuddle her, but she grew out of it--sorta.
She's still an ornery little heifer, but I love her anyway. You enjoy her on her terms or not at all--hence my hesitation to pick her up and move her without her permission.
So, onward and upward!
Love is scary. Falling for him? Terrifying.
