SYAO Creativity, the week of March 31, 2025
Mar 31, 2025 2:12 pm
Hello, everyone!
Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!
STITCH (What I've been working on)
I've been working on this scarf for years. I pick it up and knit a row or two, then it gets neglected for months. The yarn is long-discontinued (but there is always more glorious Noro yarn, so it doesn't matter). I'm in no rush. This is just one of those projects that's not urgent in any way, but eventually I'll love having a cheerful thing to wear in winter! I worked a couple of rows again this week.
YOUR (What you've been working on)
Susan made the cutest Victorian Baby Sweater.
ART (Inspired by art or nature)
Houses in Covington, KY. I thought they looked kind of cool.
OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)
I've been enamored with worsted-weight mini skeins lately! The knitting goes fast, and you get to play with All the Colors! I'll be putting together kits soon for Local Yarn Store Day. I'll tell you more about what's going on next Monday! Stay tuned.
As always, make an appointment to shop or browse, or just to show off your stuff! I can't wait to see you!
