Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! Here's what's been happening in the shop. Let's start out the week thinking creatively! Before I start, thank you for stopping by last week. It was good to see so many people!

First of all, congratulations to Melanie C., who won the $50 Stitch Every Day in May gift card!!! I have your gift certificate at the shop, Melanie!! Thanks for stitching along, everyone. Now keep going!!!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

This past Saturday was Block of the Month. Here's this month's block. This has been a particularly fun project. It goes super fast because the blocks are 20 inches, but it's also interesting because we're not used to seeing blocks so big! This month's lets the Tula Pink fabric shine in the center.

In fact, this week seems to be quilting week at the store for classes! We have a cathedral windows class, a finish-that-quilt class, and an English paper piecing class. Interested? You can go here to find more information.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Pat made this adorable table runner at our retreat. It's done now! The Tula bunny fabric is so, so cute. Unfortunately, it's discontinued and out of stock, unless you want to buy a Tula block of the month kit. I still have one left!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

Lake Raystown in the spring. This was a photo I took from the balcony of my hotel room at our retreat. (The next retreat is in April 2026. You can sign up here.) I haven't decided yet on projects, but I always find fun things to do!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

This quick gauge tool by Twice Sheared Sheep is handy (and new!). Lay it over your swatch, and your stitches per in will fit in one of those boxes, so you'll know your gauge!
