Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

Before I begin, a heads up that I'm going to switch my appointment hours for the rest of this month because I'm in and out a lot. They'll be Monday through Saturday, from 10-3 instead of 10-5. I'll resume my regular appointment hours of 10-5 in April.

STITCH (What I've been working on)

I love this little flower bowl. I'm still refining what size needles to use, or whether to use a stiffener or whether to felt it more, or whether it's dandy as is. Debates, debates! I think we'll make these at the retreat instead of penguins. (Note: There's room for only one more person this year.)

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Kay made a quilt with molas. It's super cool.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I took this waterfall of ice a few weeks ago on the way to Huntingdon. Part of me will miss the stark beauty of winter. But a bigger part of me is ready for spring! (See above note about flowers instead of penguins!)

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Rios is restocked! I have more colors available than I can get at Malabrigo! It's the favorite yarn for all of you knitters, and for good reason.

As always, make an appointment to shop or browse, or just to show off your stuff! I can't wait to see you!

I need to get started on a baby quilt for my first grandchild (a boy!) in July. I have never made a quilt to completion before, but have sewed all my life. Do you have any patterns? I hope we can chat.
