STITCH (What I've been working on)

I'm working hard on the Florida Road Trip mystery shawl! Valerie and I are having so much fun with it. We're halfway through our leisurely journey through the beautiful vacation state of Florida. Here's what I worked on to prepare for the release we did this past Saturday for the fourth leg (clue) of our journey.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Isn't Karen's shawl stunning? Her husband bought her a terrific gift for Christmas that included this skein of yarn. She used it to make the Ianthine shawl by Hunter Hammersen. (This pattern isn't available as an in-store purchase on Ravelry, so I fear you'll have to get the pattern on your own--but I've got plenty of yarn that's perfect for it!)

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

Jaye stopped by the shop and showed me this picture of a chair she painted. It had to go in my "art" category (especially since it coordinates with Karen's shawl). Jaye used a dinner plate to make the circle for the sun--a classic crafter's technique for circles!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Just in! New fat quarter bundles from the always-clever Tula Pink. The colors are gorgeous. Stop by to pick up a pack!
