STITCH (What I've been working on)

Of course I was at the retreat this past weekend. It was so much fun! I finally finished the quilt that was my wedding present to Kevin. As is typical of crafters, I gave him the top on the wedding day, but told him I needed to take it back to quilt it.

Everyone was impressed that I finished it well before our first anniversary--but I do have to say that having a 4-day block to concentrate on something is a miracle for finishing!

It's cats and bacon in space--a geek's dream! He was pleased.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Valerie's table runner is so cheerful. She made it at last year's retreat. I was just going through my pictures and ran across it. Love it so much!!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I've been enjoying spring these days. Raystown was stunning. The view from my hotel room was beautiful, and I loved seeing the redbuds. (By the way, I called an armadillo an aardvark in the last newsletter. I'm not sure why. They both start with A and have long snouts?)

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)
