Today is World Marriage Day! - The Sunday 7 - Issue #60
Feb 12, 2023 2:01 pm
Happy Sunday!
Today is World Marriage Day!
Who knew? Apparently it is the second Sunday of every February.
The Worldwide Marriage Encounter organization designated it as a special day to honor the foundation of society, the husband and wife, and their marriage union.
First celebrated in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the early 1980s the day has grown and spread to different countries and religions worldwide and even received the blessing of Pope John Paul II.
If you are interested in celebrating World Marriage Day, consider going on a date with your spouse, congratulating a long-time couple, or even reading a book about marriage.
But most of all I encourage you to enjoy today's Sunday 7, the marriage pearl in particular!
Blessings!

3) π΄ This Week Outside
This week Chrissy and I rode on part of what is called the Loop in Tucson.
The Loop, is a 133-mile green bike path encircling the city. It offers stunning views of the Sonoran Desert and the Santa Catalina Mountains.
Our ride was much shorter than the full 133 miles. But it was beautiful!
How have you enjoyed the outdoors this week?
You can check our photos and video below. (The video starts late as I had the app on "hold" accidentally...)
4) Dad Joke
When my girlfriend said "yes" to my marriage proposal, I began bawling uncontrollably.
In fact she slipped and fell on the floor made wet by my tears...
I wept her off her feet!
