So... I Created a New Video!

May 23, 2023 10:26 am

I made a new video about the urgency article from the previous newsletter. Some of the content here is the same, but the video adds visual elements that show the ideas perhaps better than an article can. And it gives opportunities for humor. :)

The feedback from my first video was positive and encouraging, and seemingly in a real way, not in a "I'll just say this to be nice" way. Thank you very much for that! (It's always scary to enter into a new realm and put your freaking face on the internet.)

When is the last time you tried something completely new? It's satisfying to learn and progress in a new trade, especially one that requires multiple skills. Creating videos requires an unbelievable number of skills if you do it alone (a lot of people hire editors, for example). I'm not sure if there's money to be made here, but it's fun to learn and improve.

The best way to learn is also to teach, and I've benefitted greatly from the content of this video. I've cemented in my mind how to create urgency.

If you absorb the ideas of this video, you will not longer ask yourself questions like "Why am I not feeling motivated today?" or "Why haven't I made progress here?" Instead, you'll ask "Have I created urgency in the areas that matter to me?"

Once you create urgency, action follows. Click here or on the image to see it on Youtube.
