Three Simple Habits That Make a Big Difference

The NFL and World Cup will be happening at the same time this year (November). That's too much excitement for a month that already has Thanksgiving and is sandwiched between Halloween and Christmas, not to mention it's my birthday month. I wanted to complain to someone about that. Thank you for listening.


Do you know what else is exciting? Simple habits!


  1. Simple, high-leverage behaviors give outsized returns for less effort.
  2. When simple behaviors become habits, you get exponential returns.


Don't fall into the trap of thinking that only effort matters. How you apply your effort usually matters more than how much effort you apply! That's why developing simple-but-potent habits is one of the smartest, most beneficial things you can do for yourself.


Three simple habits in particular have been helpful for me in the last year, and I wanted to share them with you. Just to warn you, one of them is flossing, but I won't lecture you like your dentist does. Hear me out in the article below!
