Summer fun. And writing.
My push to finish the Pantheon Online series is going well, but I'm still finding time to enjoy the outdoors with my three favorite people. The kiddos got their first taste of Fourth celebration fireworks, and were not sure what to think of some stilt walkers we ran into.
July is starting to get a little hotter than I prefer, so we're spending a little more time inside lately. Most significantly, watching the new episodes of Bluey that just came out. Their favorite show, and our favorite show to watch with them.
Pantheon #3 Writing Progress: 85% or so complete
Well, after a strong month of writing, I've written as much of Guild War as I was hoping to, but the book will not be done by my target (on Mon.). Because it's running long. Not terribly unexpected. Currently at 87k words, which is the length of book one. First draft will probably end up around 100k. If all goes well, we'll be done by the end of the month! And then revisions for a couple months. Then off to the editor. Anticipating a November release.
For now, feast your eyes once again on the cover, as always illustrated by the phenomenally talented Omer Burak Onal.

Shadow Watch Special Edition
In January, I teased intentions of putting together an illustrated special edition hardcover of the Shadow Watch. And I am thrilled to announce that it is happening. I am partnering with AC Cobble (a wildly successful and savvy indie fantasy author) and his distribution company Merrick Books to ensure everything goes well when we launch the project on Kickstarter.
Merrick Books have put together some of the most successful indie fantasy special editions that have come out recently, and we'll be working with a printer that works with many of the world's biggest publishers. I'm collaborating with several artists and have multiple art pieces in progress.
This edition is going to be stunning! And you'll be getting sneak peeks at what will be inside as things get completed. So stay tuned!
