My new book, Children of the Gods, is launching on Sept. 30!
I have been talking about this one for a while now, and I am so excited for people to finally be able to read this one.
If you've been out of the loop, Children of the Gods is an epic fantasy set in the same universe as the Shadow Watch Saga, set on another world thousands of years before. And there be dragons.
For those of you long-time readers, this one shares and builds upon old lore, and there will be a number of connections and easter eggs for you.
For new readers, this series is written to stand entirely alone, so you don't need to worry about reading the other series, if you haven't already.
This week, I am opening up applications to my subscribers to join the Launch Team
What does this entail?
Essentially, you'll receive an advanced copy (either ebook or audio).
I ask that you aim to read the book by the launch date on Sept. 30, and post a review on Goodreads or Amazon, and if you'd like, on social media as well.
Launch Team members help generate buzz about the book and help new readers have an idea of what to expect before purchasing.
It's a chance to be a first reader, and help more people discover the books.
The Launch Teams for my previous series were a huge help in the initial launch weeks of the Shadow Watch and Pantheon series.
A bit more about Children of the Gods
Children of the Gods, Book One in the Age of Fire series, blends some classic and modern fantasy elements, in the vein of books by John Gwynne, Ryan Cahill, and Philip C. Quaintrell.
The Age of Fire is a planned epic fantasy trilogy. Children of the Gods focuses on five POV characters, and though the story takes place largely on an island at the edge of the world, the scope expands vastly by the end, and as the series name suggests, things will only get more epic as the trilogy unfolds.
Book One is a tale of magic and dragon eggs. Reluctant heroes and a world on the brink of a great conflict. With plenty of action, adventure, and family drama mixed in.
Whether you're a long-time reader or are new here, I'd love to get you a copy of this new dragon fantasy epic.

I've included a few questions just to be sure the series is a good fit for you. It's a true high epic fantasy with many POV characters, etc.
This one is more of an adult series, but if you're a fan of the Shadow Watch books, I expect you'll enjoy this one too. This time around, we simply have a mix of young and old characters.
