It’s the holiday season! I hope it’s treating you well!

I recently returned from a week-long indie writing con in Vegas, and I must say, it was just what I needed after a hard push to finish Rogue Assassin in time to meet my deadline to send to my editor. I’ll be honest, I was feeling pretty burned out. But spending a week with some incredible authors was just the thing I needed.

The big group pic was a bunch of us from the Facebook group Indie Fantasy Addicts (which you should join!). And the other is me with my online writing group. We meet online every week, but several of us met for the first time at the conference (that’s me in the red flannel, by the way).

The trip left me feeling inspired and rejuvenated after a busy year, both in writing, and most other things too (such is life with a toddler and a baby at home). Since returning, I’ve already written the first 50 pages of the third Pantheon book, Guild War, and I’m excited for all to come next year.

I’m especially grateful to you for joining me on this journey!
