Are you drawn to plot-driven magical adventures?
Do you lose yourself in slow-burn romances?
Where sworn enemies become unlikely allies?
Then become an ARC reader for The Forest Edge: A Tale of Blight & Bloom!
The Forest Edge is a standalone clean fantasy novel told through dual POV. It is appropriate for all ages and combines the slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance and cultural tensions of Danielle L. Jensen’s The Bridge Kingdom with the rich environmental magic of Tasha Suri’s The Jasmine Throne. The story explores how love can heal both land and people in a society that has forgotten its meaning.
More about the story:
Vaedan, an Ayin forest guardian, lives in isolation with only his wolf, Quul, for company. Sworn to protect the Earth Mother's domain, he will stop at nothing to fulfill his duty—even if that means living next to a Strig.
Uni, a Strig sorceress, researches local life by the Ayin-Strig border with her playful dragon familiar, Yasumi. She meets Vaedan when she catches him in one of her spelled traps.
He threatens her to never trespass again.
Suddenly, ancient trees begin to rot from within. Animals turn rabid.
Vaedan blames Uni, but instead, she offers to help find the source of the decay. Should he trust her?
