I'm excited for you to meet Vaedan and Uni. So much so that I have to talk a bit about my male lead.

Vaedan is a socially clueless character, and it may be hard to understand why he struggles to comprehend simple emotions. Actually, one of my main motivations behind his personality comes from my own experience of growing up in a sheltered environment, where I had little exposure to pop culture, slang, and common social norms until adulthood. It felt like I was always playing catch-up on things that seemed second nature to everyone else—like why calling shotgun is a big deal, or how sitting in the backseat of a friend’s car (when there’s room in the front) can be impolite.
