Why I'm building the Bootcamp Course
Dec 15, 2023 11:04 am
Hey ,
Welcome to the first behind-the-scenes look at the Bootcamp Course!
This exclusive email series, separate from The Major Key weekly newsletter, is dedicated to those on the waitlist for the Bootcamp Course. It's here to give you an inside peek into the creation of a course designed to revolutionize your fitness journey.
What's This All About?
Instead of just building a waitlist and launching the course, I want to bring you along on the journey of its creation. From now until the release, I'll be sharing:
- The inspiration behind the Bootcamp Course
- My decisions on the content and structure
- How I'm tailoring the course to different fitness levels
- Insights into the additional resources and bonuses
You've expressed interest in HIRT training, and I believe sharing this process will be both enlightening and beneficial.
Why the Bootcamp Course?
"HIRT, or High-Intensity Resistance Training, is a game-changer for those juggling busy schedules. It encapsulates the essence of time efficiency, blending intense bursts of resistance exercises with minimal rest, to deliver a full-body workout in a fraction of the time; proving that quality, focused training can yield superior results over lengthy gym sessions."
You’ve probably seen me write a lot of content like this. Because HIRT, done right, is about freedom.
The freedom to work out at home or in the gym. The freedom to choose your equipment, space, and exercise length. The freedom to be with your family and feel fit.
But there’s historically been a bit of a disconnect between the courses I offer and actually reaching that freedom.
Here’s the issue:
I’ve sold 3 main courses – Love the Grind (bodyweight), F3 (functional fitness), BW44 (hybrid weight training and calisthenics).
I’ve sold a little over 7,000 programs. They’re great products and have helped thousands build their bodies or skill sets.
However…
Besides LTG, these programs require a full gym of equipment and around 1-hr per workout.
They also don’t cover topics like building routines, advanced fat loss strategies, meal timing for performance and fat loss, biohacking, and mindset.
I also built those programs as a single man, with no family and lots of time. While I believe those programs can set you up for a lifetime of success, I didn't build my business as a static resource.
I’ve built it to create the right products for my audience at the right time. And I hope to do that again here.
I’ve always suspected that learning how to train more effectively (in less time), with weights that you can use at home was something that my audience also needed, but thanks to the surveying I’ve been doing I now know they need this.
When I look at the numbers, 79.9% of my audience are professionals around my age (most with kids), or they are young men looking to get started.
That means that 4 out of 5 haven’t yet cracked the fat loss/muscle gain/less time code. I want to change that.
Here’s what’s held people back:
“Finding time to train”
“Figuring out what exercises to do”
“How to take my fitness to the next level”
“Taking the first step after failing multiple times”
“Sticking to a routine or getting back to it after falling off the wagon”
This is a snapshot of the thousands of responses I’ve received, but they’re representative of almost every reason someone’s stated they haven’t yet reached a level they are happy with.
This is why I’m building Bootcamp.
I'm listening closely to the needs of my audience (i.e. you), analyzing what's being asked of me, and then iterating. This is exactly what I'm doing to make sure that the Bootcamp is exactly what you need.
