Hi ,

how was the weekend?

It felt like spring, didn't it?

We enjoyed it!

But at the same time, we know that these temperatures are not normal.

I'm not going through what we can do as individuals to help our earth.

I wanna talk about how to take advantage of ESG to have an impact on Human Resources wellness.

HR Puts The S In ESG

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors are often relegated to investor relations, but ESG extends beyond this to include all stakeholders. Organizations are increasingly realizing the important role HR plays in ESG strategy.

A recent report from Marsh & McLennan Advantage found that ESG performance will become increasingly important when attracting and retaining employees ⬇️

The social component of ESG is a natural place for HR to lead.

GenZ and millennials

ESG performance will have an important impact on the GenZ and millennials' place of work choice.

Young people see environmental end societal risks as more impactful than business and societal leaders do.

They know the importance of building a more sustainable world and place of work.

Moreover, companies with high employee satisfaction and attractiveness to young talent produce lower emissions than global average employers.

And the Diversity and Inclusion thing?

Companies with higher employee satisfaction and greater attractiveness to young talent have, on average, +30% female representation on their board.

By comparison, board membership at global average employers exhibits -20% representation from women.

It is clear that ESG performance will function increasingly as a competitive advantage to companies, serving to engage today’s employees and attract tomorrow’s talent.
