What time is it?

Time to talk about the future!

But, we are not going to make some predictions about what the world of the future will be like.

We are going to talk about the effects that thinking about the future can have on the present moment.

WHY SHOULD YOU THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE?

Have you ever considered the positive effects that thinking about the future can have on the present moment? It's true, there are many benefits to focusing on our future goals and aspirations.

One of the main positive effects is that it can give us a sense of purpose and direction. When we have a clear vision of what we want to achieve, we are more motivated to take action in the present moment.

Another benefit is that it can help us prioritize our time and energy. This can help us stay organized and productive, which can boost our overall sense of well-being and satisfaction.

Thinking about the future can also help us cultivate a positive mindset, we are more likely to approach challenges and setbacks with a growth mindset, seeing them as opportunities for learning rather than as roadblocks to success.

WHY TALK ABOUT THE FUTURE AT THE WORKPLACE?

Only a few companies know the importance of talking about the future at work. In the startup world, on the other hand, this is much more common.

It can have many positive effects:

• Increased engagement: When we ask our employees' opinions on the future, it increases people's sense of belonging
• Increased motivation: When we have a clear idea of what we want to achieve, we are more motivated to take action in the present moment
• Greater job satisfaction: When we have a clear sense of purpose and direction, we are more likely to feel fulfilled by our work.
• Increased creativity: When we are focused on our future goals, we are more likely to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to problems.

So...whether you are a leader, a team member, or a director take a moment this week to talk with your people about your future.
