Last weekend I once again visited the amazing crystal cavern near where I live. It is the only location in the world where the rare form of Fluorite, Blue John, is mined. You can google 'Treak Cliff Cavern' and 'Blue John Cavern' in Castleton, Derbyshire to read more about it, or if you're anywhere in reach of travelling to see the caverns, it's well worth a day trip!
