SWIMMING AGAINST THE TIDES

image

When one of my uncles who was always interested in my education and who gave up on me after I left the university heard about my pair of books titled *MOTHERFUCKERS CODES & FATHERFUCKERS CODES ( Soul’e Rhymez’s philosophy of exceptional living for men and women respectively),* he flew into a rage and opined that if I have not left the university, I would know better not to give a book such a horrible title.

He felt that the school would have helped me to refine my knowledge and present it in a better way instead of using foul language as a title of a book. He would have been right if my books are for the passing generation that now focuses on the dead past, but he was wrong because my books are for the next generation.

As he was saying that, I was more convinced that leaving the University when I did was the right decision – I had to do so. If the University would have stopped me from writing those books with those titles, then I do not belong there. What it interpreted to me was that the school would kill my creativity and individuality.

I experienced a lot of troubles in secondary school just because that environment was intolerant of students with enormous creative intelligence. My creativity found its way of expression in several ways, but society threatened to kill it. I was just a student hurrying to get through another sunset. I could not wait to get out. It was a wrong environment.

Many people, including my teachers, thought that I was crazy, but I was just a kid with a plentiful supply of creative intelligence, which is not recognized by the school system. Creativity brings rebellion hence I was a rebel – Every guy combed their hair forward, mine was backward, and we had to wear pencil trousers; mine was a baggy with a zip. I designed it by myself.

I did a lot of stuff with my facial hair; carving ridiculous eyebrows that got people laughing. People thought I was trying hard to look good, but it was less about how I looked and more about my creativity finding an expression. I had to even change my surname. I just wanted to be different and with that, I was swimming against the tides.

I had to work for admission into UNILAG for 5 years, and when I got there and realized that my type of intelligence will not be appreciated too, I left. Although the decision was divine, I had my convictions too. It was hard for a lot of people to believe that I wanted to be a literary giant, yet opted out of school. They thought it was impossible, but with more than 23 books written & published, I have successfully proved that it is possible.

The two books *MOTHERFUCKERS CODES & FATHERFUCKERS CODES* are about swimming against the tides when you need to do so. If you are cut out for an exceptional life, you have to read the book as it applies to your gender. There is no way you will live an exceptional life without swimming against the tides. You must be an exception!

Those books tell the story of my life more than any other books I have written; I have always swam against the tides all my life, and I still do. My goal is not to swim against the tides, it is not an easy thing to do. But to get what I want out of life, that is the price I have to pay. If you are destined for life above mediocrity, the book is for you. You will thank me later.

*MOTHERFUCKERS CODES & FATHERFUCKERS CODES* are two of the 19 books I will be giving out for just N699 on my birthday (5th of September 2022) even though each of them currently costs N10,000.00 If you like to take advantage of my birthday offer to buy it, click on the link below.
