WHY I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED IN MY SISTER FOR HAVING A KID AT THE AGE OF 14

One afternoon, I got a call from the village saying that my sister had a baby. She was just 14 years old. They kept it from me until she gave birth because they did not know how I would react to it. They were afraid I would be angry.

They expected me to be disappointed in my sister and blame her for not being a decent girl, but my reaction was the exact opposite. Blaming her will be wicked. I have learned to be a good brother and a great leader to my siblings, so it was time for me to practice what I have learned.

Was I disappointed in my sister? NO! I had no reason to do so. She was a victim of circumstance. Her first attempt at sex led to a baby. I lived in that village until I was 17, and the only reason I escaped being a premature father was because I did not look good enough to attract the girls. That was a blessing in disguise.

Many of my female classmates got pregnant before they graduated from secondary school, and those who graduated could not proceed to university because of pregnancy. Some of my male classmates were premature fathers before we finished secondary school.

My sister lived there, and I was not there to educate her sexually. Whoever blamed her was not there to help. No one told her that first-time sex would lead to pregnancy. She knew nothing about condoms or pills. She was just a kid trying to explore her sexuality. That is not extraordinary for kids her age.

I cried when I heard it, not because my sister disappointed me but because I could not do anything to help her make a better choice. This prompted me to write the book *THE SEXUALLY SMART GIRL,* for girls between the ages of 12 and 20 and a little above that. I knew that my sister could have had it differently if she had read a book of that nature.

My sister is already suffering from the results of a lack of proper sex education. I could not save her, but I can save others through her. My sister was not a wayward girl; she was just a victim of a lack of proper sex education.

No one was there to educate her sexually, but all of them blamed her. I would be a bad brother if I blamed her too. I never will! I will do my best to protect her and put her on the right path from now on. Do not feel sorry for her, she is a champion and will outgrow it. I will see to that!

Your focus should be on what your teenage daughters are doing secretly. What if you find that your holy daughter has had an abortion? I am sure you will blame her if she gets pregnant, gets caught having sex, or her sex tape leaks.

You will assume that she disgraced your family name and reputation, but the question that you will not wish to answer will be – what did you do to prevent these things from happening? Did I hear you say “I teach her the ways of the Lord”? Well done, waymaker! But I am sorry to disappoint you—that is not enough!

To prevent your daughter from having sex when she is not ready for it, you have to give her a reason that appeals to her, and not God. That may sound strange, but it is true. A lot of church leaders do not know this, and that is why it appears as if the daughters of the church leaders are more sexually wayward than others.

In the book *THE SEXUALLY SMART GIRL,* I created something called the TRT (Triangular Readiness Test). This three-way test will convince your girl not to have sex when it is not right to do so and when she is not ready for it.

If your girl uses a multimedia phone and you wish to save her from becoming a victim of sex, get her the PDF version of the book. You will be glad you did. You can also print on demand on Amazon if you do not like PDFs.
