If you aren't familiar with Kobo Plus, let me tell you how much I love it as a book subscription. It has most of the hot, must-read indie romances that are not in Kindle Unlimited and audiobooks too! I have many of my own books in it, and there is a strong presence of historical romance authors including Grace Callaway, Darcy Burke, Madeline Hunter, Erica Ridley, Mary Jo Putney, Suzanna Medeiros, Alexandra Ivy, and more!
It is the most affordable book subscription on the market, plus the first month is free in most markets. If you haven't tried it yet, today is a great day to give it a go because there's no download limit! You can get ebooks or audiobooks for $7.99 per month or get ebooks AND audiobooks for $9.99 per month. (This is subject to change, so check the most current pricing.)
If you have a Kindle and want to try the Kobo app, follow the instructions below. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on Paperwhites or Oasis. For your Apple or Android devices, simply download the Kobo app from your app store.
Kindle Settings
1) Search for "Install unknown apps"
2) Select Silk Browser and allow it to download unknown apps.
3) Open Silk Browser
4) Search for the following depending on if you're in the US or UK (if you're in another country, replace the country code in one of these links)
kobo.com/us/en/p/apps
kobo.com/uk/en/p/apps
5) Once installed, the Kobo icon will be added to your apps. Sign in with your Kobo account (or make one).
Now, head on over to Kobo and KP for one month free and fill your device with as many KP ebooks or audiobooks as you want! These lists will only be up for a few days, but the books will remain in KP afterward.
BTW - Kindle Unlimited only pays an author once per reader, per book. However, KP will pay the author anytime someone rereads the ebook or listens to the audiobook again. So, if you love to reread your favorite authors' books, they benefit from it each time!
