Google's Heart Framework
If we improve something, we better be able to measure the impact and learn from it. If we can’t, we really need to question why we’re doing it, because it will be hard to know if we’re right, wrong, or somewhere in the middle.

Job descriptions and your resume/portfolio.
There's a clear gap between the job you want to apply for and the information you get from its job description. It tells you a lot and tells you nothing.
You can use the spray and pray strategy and see how far you go or... Get to know the team behind that job position, its projects, its processes, its team’s culture, values. Things you can't easily find on Google and job descriptions can't tell you.

Unless you got a shot to network with one of the recruiters, then you're in a good spot. But you know that's not always the case.
So, how do you prepare to apply for a job? What questions do you ask yourself to make the right job decision?
- What projects will I be involved?
- How much do I need to know about the industry?
- What problems is the hiring team currently solving?
- What will I experience in their first 30/60/90 days?
- Why do people leave this company?
- What does the average day look like at this company?
