Greetings, ,
Here in the States, particularly where I live, it's Back to School time, which means there is a level of anxiety already part and parcel with returning to school. But this year, along with the added pressures of a pandemic still raging, there are also so many other world events that are happening that it's easy to become overwhelmed. My heart goes out to those affected by the natural disasters befalling Haiti, as well as the turbulence and unrest occurring in Afghanistan. Here are some suggested ways to help support efforts in Haiti and Afghanistan.
And below are some reads that may be able to give your a little reprieve if you need some self-care. I hope you're able to protect your space and energy as best you can, and please remember to "put your oxygen mask on first" so you are able to help and support others around you.
Please be safe and well,
Savannah
