Happy Holidays!

Hello Everybody!
I wanted to start by wishing everyone a warm, happy, and healthy holiday season! And I'm one who says Happy Holidays, because not only does my family celebrate two, but there are SO MANY between now and the New Year. So no matter what you celebrate, or don't, I hope you have a very wonderful next few weeks.
We'll be doing some small family things here and trying to get some playdates in for my daughter before the December school break. It's been snowing here for about 2-3 days but very lightly and the only accumulation is on the grass. The dog LOVES it!

That’s how I meet Valerie. I’m immediately intrigued by her and of course agree to the date.
Though we hatch a plan to deceive her family into thinking we’re a couple, it’s easy to go along with because the pull to her is strong.
Not only that, but her family welcomes me like one of their own, a feeling I haven’t had in far too long.
Somehow, I already know there’s going to be more to this than just one pretend date.
