Springs Ensemble Theatre presents Frozen by Bryony Lavery
April 2 to 19 at the Fifty-Niner Speakeasy in Old Colorado City
In just a few weeks, SET brings Frozen to the stage, a contemporary drama about three lives bound together by a violent crime and the difficult work of understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness.
Frozen follows Nancy, a mother confronting unimaginable loss; Ralph, the man responsible; and Agnetha, a psychiatrist committed to understanding what drives violent behavior. Instead of sensationalizing harm, the play asks a harder question. What does it mean to seek understanding and forgiveness when the truth is unbearable?
Directed by Henry Award nominee and SET President Matt Radcliffe (The Elephant Man), Frozen features three of our favorite artists:
Guest Artist Jane Fromme as Nancy,
last seen at SET in Dead Man’s Cell Phone
Henry Award Nominee Desiree Myers as Agnetha,
last seen at SET in Doubt.
Henry Award Winner Steve Emily as Ralph,
last seen at SET in The Shark is Broken
