"Rather than simply observing this reunion from a distance, you feel as if you’ve been seated at the kitchen table, listening in as old wounds resurface." - Toni Tresca, OnStageColorado.

Production Spotlight: Stage Management

Behind the scenes every night, you will find one of our two stage managers - Jodi Papproth or Meghan Longenecker - keeping the sound, lights and actors on cue.

Jodi is a founding member of SET. Favorite SET experiences include: The Revolutionists, The Moors, Tigers Be Still, LIFE SUCKS, The Laramie Project, Gidion’s Knot, Titus Andronicus, The Burn, WHITE, and Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter. Jodi has been the Theatre Teacher at Cheyenne Mountain High School since the 90's where she's inspired a love of theater in many local thespians!

Meghan is joining the SET family in her first ever production crew role. Hailing from Southern California, she is an actor by trade, and has recently starred as Ruth Dice in The Butler Did It Again at the Butte and as the Princess of France in Love’s Labour’s Lost at Star Bar.

About the play

A cozy seaside cottage sets the scene for the play. Retired nuclear scientists Hazel and Robin receive an unexpected visit from an old colleague Rose, who's motivations are not entirely clear. A disaster looms just offstage as the three dance around their past relationships and the reason Rose is really back.

In the wake of continued disasters, this play asks a timely question: what, if anything, do we owe to each other?
