Hi ,
Welcome back to Refuel, your weekly pitstop to pause, reset, and reconnect with your body, mind, and what matters most.
Because running on empty was never the plan. đ
Itâs been one of those weeks busy, full, and a little blurred around the edges with half term in the mix.
The kind of week where routines wobble, calendars get colourful, and youâre reminded that life doesnât always move in neat lines.
And yet⌠thereâs been so much goodness in it too.
Moments of connection, quiet wins, and that deep sense of this is why I do this work.
So before we dive in, take a breath with me.
If things feel a little full right now, youâre not behind, youâre human.
đĽ THIS WEEKâS FOCUS: WHEN CONSISTENCY CARRIES YOU
Progress doesnât always come from doing something new.
Sometimes it comes from staying with whatâs already working even when life feels busy.
This week reminded me of that.
Our busiest Monday morning Pilates class to date, the continued buzz of Friday Pilates⌠the new Social Club, and the energy in the room at Pilates After Dark all echoed the same thing:
Consistency builds confidence.
And community makes it sustainable.
Showing up, imperfectly, regularly, honestly, really does add up.
đŹ QUESTION OF THE WEEK
âWhat if I miss a week or my routine slips, does it undo my progress?â
Short answer? No.
Bodies donât work on an all-or-nothing system.
Strength, mobility, and nervous system regulation are cumulative, not fragile.
Missing a class, eating differently for a few days, or being out of routine (hello, half term!) doesnât erase the benefits of what youâve already built.
What matters most is returning â without guilt, punishment, or pressure.
Progress isnât about perfection.
Itâs about coming back to yourself, again and again.
⥠MINI WELLNESS BOOST (2 MINUTES)
The Ground + Length Reset
If your body has felt compressed or tense this week, try this:
⢠Stand with feet hip-width apart
⢠Press gently down through your feet
⢠Imagine the crown of your head lifting softly upwards
⢠Inhale through your nose, feeling space through your spine
⢠Exhale slowly, letting your shoulders melt
⢠Repeat for 4 slow breaths
This helps reset posture, reduce tension, and bring you back into your body â quickly and gently.
đ SLEEP SUPPORT TIP OF THE WEEK
If your sleep has been lighter or more restless lately, try anchoring your wake-up time, even if bedtime varies.
Getting up at roughly the same time each day helps regulate your body clock far more than forcing sleep at night.
Consistency in the morning = calmer nights.
đż WHATâS COMING UP (AND WHATâS NEW!)
⨠Pilates After Dark â A Beautiful Success
Wednesdayâs session was everything it was meant to be, calm, grounding, and deeply nourishing.
Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a special evening.
More dates will be coming so keep your eyes peeled (on a youâll be the first to know here).
⨠Friday Pilates Social Club
The Friday class is officially social!
âď¸ The Fitness Friday bring-a-friend offer
âď¸ A brilliant first session
âď¸ And weâve received 5-star reviews âââââ
This class is about movement, connection, and starting the weekend feeling strong and supported.
⨠SomalatesŽ Test Launch
Tuesday marked the first test launch of SomalatesÂŽ, and Iâm still smiling about it.
This work, blending mindful movement, nervous system regulation, and deep body awareness, is something Iâm incredibly excited to keep developing.
More to come very soonâŚ
âď¸ Half Term Reality
With half term in full swing, routines have been a little looser, and thatâs okay.
Movement that flexes with life is movement that lasts.
⨠Exciting Things Brewing for 1:1 Work
Iâm currently shaping something new for my 1:1 clients deeper, more personalised, and designed to support women who want real, sustainable change.
If youâve been thinking about working together more closely, watch this space.
⨠And the RegularsâŚ
Weekly Pilates classes continue to be the heartbeat of my work steady, supportive, and full of familiar faces.
Thank you for showing up, week after week. It truly means everything.
đ A NOTE FROM ME
You donât need to catch up.
You donât need to do more.
If this week asked you to soften, slow, or simplify listen.
The work is still happening, even when itâs quiet.
Tip of the Week:
What you repeat gently will always outlast what you force.
Love + wellness,
