The Reminder About Relationships

Life has a way of reminding us what actually matters. As you get older, you realize it’s usually not the things you spend most of your time chasing.

Our family said goodbye to someone we love this week. And, as moments like this often do, it slowed everything down and brought a little clarity.

The corner office? The big promotion? That big, new listing or winning that multiple-offer bid? Those are all great…in the moment. But they won’t be mentioned in your obituary, and they definitely won’t make the cut in the eulogy.

At the end of the day, it’s about…

People over paychecks.

Time over transactions.

Presence over posting.

Relationships over recognition.

But then again… it’s always been about the relationships.
