What a week! I'm still reeling!

✅ Paid property taxes (ouch)

✅ Youngest child turned 14 (I feel old)

✅ Elected a fresh batch of government leaders (yay!)

✅ Started writing my first orc book (double yay!)

✅ Saw Wildwood (triple yay!)

COZY HOLIDAYS AHEAD

This is the time of year I get really tempted to write a cozy holiday book. Both Snowed in with a Dragon and Dragon, Actually were written due to this predictable seasonal impulse. I can’t say I regret them, either!

I actually kind of already wrote a holiday book this year, because Fated Late includes Christmas and New Years’ celebrations! I got to work out all the decorating, gifting, eating, and cuddling by the fire scenes in that book. Of course, you can never have too many stories like that.
