I have good news, bad news, fun stuff, and free stuff to tell you about. I’ll start with the bad news to get it out of the way, and then we can get to the imporant things like naked aliens, LOL.

BAD NEWS

Okay, it’s not even very bad news…more like a head’s up about some changes coming soon. Amazon is raising its printing costs for paperback books. I price my paperbacks on the lower side, so unfortunately I can’t absorb the additional charges. That means on June 20, all my paperback prices are going up. If you’ve had any of them on your wishlist, this might be a good opportunity to grab them. But if it’s not a good time for you to buy, don’t worry. The prices are only going to go up a dollar or two, nothing extreme.

GOOD (NSFW) NEWS

You know what that means...new art!

While I’ve been working on wrapping up Seduced, I’ve been drawing in the evenings to decompress. While I have some adorable character art in the works for the new Alioth book, and some cozy domestic scenes with giants, too, I realized I haven’t done much art for Stolen by Starlight! So I thought I’d share something spicy I drew featuring Lothan and Ada.

When I thought about the story, the escape pod scene is the one that called to me...the moment when they’re lost without any hope of rescue, and they realize that all they have is each other and the next few moments together. It’s this nexus of despair and desire and acceptance. I tried to capture that feeling in this piece.

Stolen by Starlight was the very first romance novel I ever wrote. There are many things I’d do differently if I wrote it again. But I still love that scene. If you haven't read it, now is a great time to get caught up ont he series before the fourth book launches at the end of the month!
