Bohemian Dragon Awakening is almost here!

After more years than I would care to mention, the Darkening Dragons Trilogy is finally coming to a close with the upcoming release of Bohemian Dragon Awakening. I am so excited to finally be bringing this book into the world. The real-world aspects of this story take place right here in the Czech Republic, where I currently live. It has been so much fun to bring this region to life in my story and to explore a bit of European dragon lore in the process. I incorporate a lot of locations near and dear to my heart in this book, and I hope they will give you a small taste of what living in Western Bohemia is like.
If you're interested in an ARC copy of this book, please click the link and fill out the request form: https://forms.gle/8WS6fPAvE8rEVkGh8
And if you're feeling a little extra excited, here's the preorder link just for funsies:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8STDL75
The release date is set for August 13th!
In other news, my daughter and I are flying to the US next week, where I will be ordering author copies, so anyone interested in ordering a signed copy, reply to this email to let me know. I'll be sharing more closer to release day about pricing, bundle deals, and how you can get this lovely book in your hands.
I'm also planning to order copies of the newly updated One Week in November and, naturally, Dawn of the Darkening, so there will be all sorts of choices for those who still enjoy paperbacks. Keep your eyes open for more news!
Meet some of my characters:
I thought I'd share a wee peek at some of the inspirational photos I have for the POV (point of view) characters in Bohemian Dragon Awakening. Since these are all taken from Pinterest and don't belong to me, I can't share them on Social Media, but I love getting an idea of how the author envisions their characters, and these are some of the images I think best suit mine. So without further ado, I give you my unlikely hero, the truck driver turned dragon slayer:
Tucker Kenworthy
The feisty warrior princess:
Ravinna
The bookish Czech teen who finds a mysterious map in her library book:
Lenka
The young man with questionable motives from Aristonia:
Willder
And one final note, I did a thing yesterday. Basically, I've been sort of deprived of "real" books since I moved. I have a handful of them here, but not many, and I had this sudden desire to have the short story I sent you all in print form. So, I went ahead and published a paperback version of Veiled in Fog. I'm really not expecting anyone to buy a print copy, but I wanted to have it for myself, and I also wanted a way to get it onto places like Goodreads and Amazon. Why, you might ask? Because then it can get reviews, which help make all of my books more visible. So, if you've read the story, I would love it if you would go and leave a review of it on one of these places.
That's all for now. My life is kind of insane with a big business editing job, plus trying to prepare for my trip, and planning a book release, but I do intend to have at least one more update before release day, and, as always, you can find slightly more frequent updates on Instagram: @transientdrifter
Thanks for hanging out on this crazy ride with me,
Sarah
