I'm not going to lie, February ended up being a rough month for a lot of reasons. This is something I know I'm not alone in, and the goings-on in the world certainly make my own problems seem small.
Finding the Dragon Beta Updates
Despite my mini hiatus near the end of February, progress on Finding the Dragon continues. I still plan to have it ready for beta readers this month. If you applied to beta read, thank you, thank you, thank you! You should be receiving an email from me around March 15th. If you haven't applied to be a beta reader, but would still like to do so, please fill out the form here.
Free Short Story
If you missed it in last month's newsletter, I'm currently offering a free short story exclusively for newsletter subscribers. You can download The Knight's Proposal here. Originally, I only planned to offer it for the month of February, but I'm going to keep it up through the end of March. Don't miss your chance to download it!
Newsletter Changes
Going forward, I'm changing the format of the newsletter just a little bit. I'll still be filling y'all in on what's going on with me, of course! But, in addition to featured recommendations as I've typically done in the past, I'm going to be letting y'all know about other releases and deals that I think you may be interested in. So we'll have Recommendations, Deals & Steals, New Releases, and Group Promos. I may not include all of them all the time, but these are the sections to be looking out for. Please note that I will not have read all of the sales and group promos.
So, without further ado, please check out these awesome books!
Deals & Steals
Audible is currently running a sale through Friday, marking many books half off! You can get all 3 of my current audiobooks for less than $10 each while this deal lasts.
I've talked about this gender-swapped Little Mermaid retelling by Chesney Infalt before. Here is your chance to grab it for less, even if you don't have Kindle Unlimited. Grab The Heart of the Sea for just 99¢ on March 13th.
New Releases
The Owl's Crown was released on February 28th and is going straight on my TBR list. From the Amazon description: The Owl’s Crown is an action-packed, fated mates paranormal romance, perfect for fans of Deborah Harkness, Stephanie Meyer, and L. J. Smith.
Today is release day for Enchanting Fate by Ashley Evercott! It's a lovely Beauty and the Beast Retelling... with a twist. I had the pleasure of reading an advanced review copy. My review will be up on Goodreads soon!
Today is release day for Graphite and Turbulence, Jami Fairleigh's follow-up to her powerful Oil and Dust. While not a fantasy romance series, these books are definitely not to be missed.
